Rajapack UK rebrands as RAJA UK and adds free peak-cost planning tool

RAJAPACK UK becomes RAJA UK to create a single European brand, while the free Prepare for Peak tool estimates busy-period packing costs.

Packaging distributor RAJAPACK UK has changed its name to RAJA UK, aligning its UK business with the RAJA Group’s brand across Europe. The Bedfordshire-based supplier says it serves more than 43,000 UK businesses and has supplied the UK market since 1998.

RAJA UK is part of the RAJA Group, which was founded in France in 1954 by Rachel Marcovici and Janine Rocher. The company’s name derives from the founders’ first names. Using the group name is intended to give customers one recognisable brand across the 19 European countries the group serves.

Tom Rodda, managing director of RAJA UK, said the name had changed but what customers relied on had not: the same people, the same range and the same next-day service. He added that with peak only weeks away, the company had made planning easier through a free tool that puts a number on what the busiest weeks will cost.

The Prepare for Peak tool is being offered alongside the rebrand. It helps businesses estimate what peak will cost their packing operation and what they could save ahead of Black Friday on 27 November. Users select their industry to see how far orders typically rise at peak, based on benchmarks that combine Office for National Statistics retail data with RAJA order data from 2023 to 2025. They then enter their own figures, such as parcels per day and people packing. The tool provides an illustrative estimate rather than a quote.
